In this second part of the documentary triptych North-South, Van der Keuken focuses on three different cultures: Formentera in Spain, where people live close to life, Columbus, Ohio where mass production and consumption rule and Holland. The White Castle is a film that uses images and sounds to show the fragmentation of mankind.
