Portrait of the young photographer Maurice Nuiten, who in his work and life plays an often alienating game with reality. The starting point of his vulnerable, sometimes provocative pictures: 'Suppose that what we see is not true'. He is a striking figure, also because he assumes different identities all the time. Nuiten almost weekly commutes between Breda, the city where he studies photography, and his prim native village in the Brabant country to visit his parents. But it turns out he has more paradoxical sides.
