A mobile phone is ‘the black box of a relationship'. When it opens, a congenial dinner changes into a terrible cesspool and the relationship of seven friends reaches the boiling point.
Seven close friends get together for a congenial dinner. What starts as a nice evening turns around when someone suggests to play a game: everyone puts their mobile phone on the table and everything they receive that night – text messages, calls, e-mails, Facebook messages – must be shared with the whole group. When the messages pour in, they get to know very different sides of each other. Mutual tensions mount. What are they hiding and how well do these friends really know each other? This Dutch adaptation of the Italian hit movie Perfetti Sconosciuti (Perfect Strangers) fits in the long list of international remakes, from France and Poland to China, Mexico, Russia and South Korea.
