BoostNL is the programme for projects in development and works in progress. For BoostNL, NFF and IFFR join forces to guide projects more intensively and present them to potential future partners.
Projects in development and post-production are offered a tailor-made programme, from the NFF in September to the IFFR in January. The aim is to help Dutch projects in development, but also international film projects that were already presented during the CineMart coproduction market and/or received support from IFFR’s Hubert Bals Funds, by guiding them more intensively and presenting them to potential future partners. The programme focusses on projects that are at an advanced stage of development and ready to be presented at a coproduction market. Films that are almost completed can also participate as a work in progress.
Owing to the combined forces of the two festivals, every project can be supported made-to-measure at different stages.
During the NFF, for selected projects the emphasis is on a tailor-made expert programme with for example more (international) script consultants, editing mentors and festival, sales and marketing strategy experts. In addition, Dutch producers can already talk with the people behind the selected international BoostNL projects during the NFF.
During the IFFR, the focus of the selected projects lies on one-on-one meetings with potential international co-producers.
By invitation only.
