Documentary about the friendship, rivalry and struggle of six 12-year-old boys in a sports boarding school in the Turkish province of Amasya. The young teenagers are country-bred. Some have left home for the first time and must adapt to the new world of the school. They dream of becoming wrestling champions, but also have to pass their school exam. Life in a Turkish microcosm, captured in an intimate, fly-on-the-wall style. A men’s world where the children take their first steps towards adulthood and teachers play the father’s role.
