Episode from a four-part documentary series about the perspectives of youngsters in the early eighties. In Babylon valt, we follow Gerrit (20), skinhead and F-side supporter of Ajax. He is on sickness benefit and hangs around with his friends all day. His mother thinks his skinhead looks don't really help him find a job or in his contacts with the police, with whom he has recurrent problems.
