A grumpy, egocentric, irascible father misbehaves during a holiday weekend in South Limburg, making both his family and the environment turn against him.
Toine, Iris and their little son Jacco - the Grol family – spend a weekend in the hilly South Limburg region to revitalize their relationship. But it is soon clear that the egocentric Toine wants none of this. And he doesn’t conceal it either, particularly during dinner. He gets enraged when the near-raw meat he has grilled does not go down well with the rest. Due to his persistent misbehaviour, the situation escalates and it is not just his family that turns against him.
