Portrait of the American artist Bulgar Finn (real name Walter Glück, but also known as Viktor IV and Jack Sun) who lived in Amsterdam since 1964 on a boat on the River Amstel and whose works of art are collages made from what others threw away. As well as his unpretentious way of life and his special work, the film shows a visit to an exhibition of his work in Denmark and a decorated refuse container is filmed in Copenhagen. It is so beautiful than no one dares to throw any rubbish in it. Bulgar Finn died in 1986.
