Documentary that shows nocturnal Rotterdam. A modern metropolis where the lights never go out and loneliness lodges unnoticed in the void. Somebody stays awake to listen and talk anonymously, encouraging lost souls to go to sleep. Sometimes in vain. The night waits patiently for a new day.
