We Margiela offers a glimpse behind the scenes of the mystical fashion house Maison Martin Margiela. For the first time, co-founder Jenny Meirens and members of the creative team, who form the nucleus of the house, spill the beans about Margiela’s creative process and unique philosophy. Personal interviews give a unique insight into the genesis of one of the most influential fashion brands in Europe and of our time. At the same time, the documentary depicts what creativity, authorship and financial return mean in neoliberal times.
