Comical drama about a father who does not want to grow up and his son who should take life less seriously. They reconcile with themselves and each other during a turbulent trip to Scotland.

On one and the same day, the rather unsuccessful crime novelist Victor and his cello-playing son Zack are thrown out of the house by their women. Victor decides to take his son in tow, when he leaves for Scotland on a promotional tour of his first novel that has been translated into Scottish. During this turbulent trip, it is clear that the father does not want to grow up, while junior would be well-advised to take life less seriously. They reconcile with themselves and each other on this father-son excursion. Funny and thoughtful drama with a prominent place on the soundtrack for the band The Waterboys (The Whole of the Moon).
