Documentary about the football family who risked it all to beat the other half of the village. It led to the drama of Achilles '29, the first amateur football club to be promoted to the 2nd pro division.
Achilles '29 from Groesbeek is one of the best Dutch amateur football clubs in recent decades. They managed to escape the local rivalry by being the first amateur club to be promoted to the second division of professional football in the Netherlands: the Jupiler League. This stirs up bad blood among the other five amateur clubs in the village. Achilles punched above their weight and they will pay for it. In the 2016-2017 season, Achilles '29, predominantly managed by the Derks family, has to bring this adventure to a successful ending, both commercially and competitively.
