Marijn Frank tries to lose her meat addiction by becoming a trainee at a cow slaughterhouse. A personal, brave and funny quest along brain researchers, stock-breeders and teetotallers.
Meat junkie Marijn Frank tries to lose her addiction by becoming a trainee at a cow slaughterhouse. By looking her steak right in the eye, she hopes to develop a healthier relationship with the slab of meat on her plate. This turns into an emotional, at times comic-erotic tour, in which she also turns to a psychologist. While Marijn is bravely making progress along the slaughtering line, she gets answers to her questions from stock-breeders, teetotallers and a chef. About representation, lust and hypocrisy.
