On Christmas Eve, the German Antonietta secretly leaves for Rotterdam with her boyfriend. Her father sends her elder sister Francesca out to look for her. On her way, she encounters the older Gerlinde, who travels with her to the Netherlands. The women's three stories clarify a lot about fleeing and finding. With supporting roles by Tygo Gernandt and Egbert-Jan Weeber.
