During the war between Abkhazia and Georgia in the 1990s, the 87-year-old Torro fled to Georgia. He lives there in a dilapidated house now, together with his cousin and the latter’s wife. Due to a lack of food, money and warmth, they are thrown back on each other. Despite Torro’s resilience, the situation starts demanding its toll. Tragedy, humour and vodka take turns in this documentary about vitality and transience.
