Herman Brood, equally elusive and extravagant in both life and death. Exclusive footage and key figures from his life try to unravel his mysteries.

On 11 July 2001, Herman Brood jumps off the roof of the Amsterdam Hilton. The way he ended his life is just as extravagant as that life itself. From start to end, he struggled with being a human and a myth. In videos, lyrics and interviews, he left behind a breadcrumb trail that provides answers to the questions his death raised. The documentary delves into the past, with the help of exclusive footage and the people who were closest to him, to relive the key moments.
