Animation film about the downfall of a man who in short, absurdist and at times cruel scenes proves that the dividing line between experiencing and causing inconvenience is very thin.
Mr. O. Verlast, a spruce man, can no longer stand the nuisance caused by people around him. A ball against his window, a caller in his train compartment: he tells them off with a roaring voice. In the end, the nuisance turns against him.
Animation in Han Hoogerbrugge’s familiar style shows the downfall of a man who wants other people to behave themselves. The short scenes are both cruel and absurdist. In the end, it is clear that the dividing line between experiencing and causing inconvenience is very thin.
