When a lanky kid in a typical 1950s diner wants to rock ‘n’ roll with the most beautiful girl on the dancefloor, he is crossed by an obtrusive greaser and a faltering jukebox. Colourful animation film in which the underdog has to put out all the stops to get the girl. Meanwhile, all characters passionately try to imagine themselves in an era when anything still seemed possible.
