Captivating and lively portrait of Lily, a girl from a squatters’ community that has to swap her woody native soil for a childhood in an orderly village. Her resilience turns out to be her most precious possession.

Lilly lives with her mother and brothers Robbin and Melvin in a squatters’ community in the woods. The green oasis offers them ample space for a fantastic childhood. But then the commune is cleared out and their wooden house is razed to the ground. Lilly moves to a standard housing estate in a village. Will she recover a new freedom among the paving stones? Sensitive homage to a remarkable girl’s ingenuity.
