The increasing mobility of man has led to the emergence of new venues: transit zones. Time and space become tangible while at the same time they are relative. The transition from one means of transport to another is greatest at an airport. Transit zone is a visual journey through an airport terminal, without the use of voice-over, interviews or music. The film provides a picture of the complex of buildings and of the people, of the temporary stay on the frontier between recognition and alienation.
