What does it feel like to live in a war zone and be forced to flee? In this slightly absurdist adaptation of Joke van Leeuwen’ s eponymous children’s book, ten-year-old Toda is suddenly on her own when war breaks out and her baker father is called to the front. Toda embarks on a challenging journey to her mother, who lives in another country.
