Interpretation of Dr. Oliver Sacks’ research and book The Man Who Mistook His Wife for a Hat in an imaginative animated form. In this film, composed of an impressive series of cut-out photographs against a flat background, a patient with a defective memory plays the leading role. The Lost Mariner is a symbolic and creative visual attempt to show how this man might experience his world.
