Black comedy about Albert Spica, the barbaric leader of a criminal gang, who in the company of his wife Georgina and a bunch of henchmen pays daily visits to his own high-class restaurant. When Georgina meets a bookshop owner there one night, who is quite the opposite of her gluttonous, bigoted husband, she immediately feels attracted to him. The two have a passionate relationship, with the help of the cook who arranges a safe place at the restaurant where the lovers can meet. Until the romance is discovered - with all due horrific consequences.
