When filmmaker and 3D artist René van Zon tore his anterior cruciate ligament in an accident, he experienced an intense, sharp pain. In this short, associative animation, Van Zon tries to visualise this exact sensation, both on a macro and micro level. A destructive transition that shifts from light to dark, accompanied by a fitting audio track.
