Experimental documentary about the international techno-movement. Techno, computer-controlled dance music in which lyrics do not have a significant part to play, blew over from the USA to Europe ten years ago. Filmmaker Ian Kerkhof concentrated in his documentary on the artistic foundations and the philosophical principles of this contemporary music trend. In interviews woven into one long music video, producers and musicians answer the question of what makes techno and house culture so attractive to youth. Is it a return to the spirituality and primitive rituals of the past. Or is it the call of a technological future.
