Ode to Rudolf Valentino based on an idea by the Dalemans Brothers. A taxi dancer is a man who dances with women for money and if desired provides other services. In his early years, that is how Valentino earned his living. When he died at the age of 31 in 1926, the fame of the ultimate Latin lover was at its peak. Sixty-seven people committed suicide, his funeral was attended by tens of thousands of fans and hundreds of people were injured. The protagonist in Taxi Dancer is a Valentino admirer who goes to the limit for his idol.
