Slovenian feature film about a group of middle-aged men who spend there evenings at the suburban bowling alley pondering their lives' in humorous discussions. They are disturbed by a young foreign couple moving to their suburbs. When the young lovers are secretly filmed, the tragic fates of the friends, who keep blaming others for their own misfortune, are revealed. Suburbs is a film about developing xenophobia and nationalism. It is a story about the suburbs of the human soul. Selected for Director's Fortnight, Cannes 2004. Was screened at the Netherlands Film Festival 2004 as part of the section West Sees East.
