Documentary about two young women who cannot speak.
Sprekende ogen (Eloquent Eyes) is a documentary about two women. Nathalie (22) can only move her head and can't talk. She speaks with her expressive eyes, that can say more than words. With her hair bleached blond and a preference for house music, she is someone who knows what she wants. Nicole (23) can't talk either. She has recently had her leg straightened in the hope that she will be able to walk better. The two women live with two others in a unique project 'het Bolwerk' in Hoorn. All four have separate apartments with 24-hour care. Het Bolwerk offers them an opportunity to shape their own lives.
