Students of practical training confront themselves by talking to their mirror image. Direct, intimate, frank and without self-pity.
What do you tell yourself when you look in the mirror? In this documentary, the mirror is also a camera lens. Students of practical training for whom preparatory vocational education is too hard talk to their own reflections. Frankly and without self-pity, they tell about the vulnerable sides of their lives, talk about their dreams and obstacles and about their ‘otherness’. Despite all setbacks, these practical students show great resilience. The pupils’ driven teachers confront themselves too, by looking in the mirror.
