English-spoken action thriller with an international cast. Kevin Burke is a young and ambitious security agent employed by a powerful internationally operating firm. Director Karl Jorgensen sees Kevin as his own son. After a tragic crime during which Kevin's real father died, the small boy was placed in Jorgensen's care. Eventually, Jorgenson turns him into a successful man, to the annoyance of Jorgensen's real son Karl jr. On the day that Kevin gets a major promotion, he intends to propose to his girlfriend. The romantic evening is brutally disturbed when she falls victim to a cold-blooded hitman. Kevin swears he will find the killer and sets off in pursuit. In the ensuing power struggle, in which nobody is who he seems, Kevin discovers more than he cares for.
