In the turbulent prohibition era in 1929 Chicago, the musicians Joe and Jerry are threatened by members of the Mafia. To save their skins, they take a job in a woman’s band dressed as women. The choice of Paul Verhoeven, who will personally introduce the film in a conversation with Rob van Scheers, who will also present the book Volgens Verhoeven.
