On a hot summer's day, youngsters with scooters gather on an isolated industrial estate, to perform an equally pointless and fatal ritual.
Along with actors of Theater de Noordelingen, filmmaker Marc Schmidt made the short film Slow Start. On a hot summer's day, youngsters with scooters gather on an isolated industrial estate. When the starting shot sounds, the six shooters tear off. One of them falls down, the others keep on riding - and cannot be stopped by anybody or anything.
