In this social-realist drama in poetic form, a young Hungarian woman awakes in a crashed car. Her younger brother has vanished. Numb and sad, she decides to build a second life elsewhere. When she boards a cargo ship destined for Western Europe, she meets a man with shady intentions. And when she loses the last memento of her little brother to boot, she completely loses her grip on life.
