In a Turkish cave, Selman keeps former torturer Bilal at gunpoint, consumed by feelings of revenge for the killing of his two sons during the military regime in the 1980s.
Crime and Punishment in Turkey. Former publisher Selman tracks down Bilal, a man who worked as a torturer for the military regime in the 1980s and killed Selman’s two sons. He currently leads a retired life in Cappadocia. The vengeful Selman kidnaps Bilal and keeps him at gunpoint in a cave, where he interrogates the man about his deeds. Both men are caught in their primitive instincts. In this game of light and dark, the borderline between offender and victim gets blurred.
