Documentary series in twelve instalments celebrating the meeting between literature and cinema. The writers’ portraits form a cross section of the state of affairs in both disciplines. The films show the authors’ mainsprings and the way these are expressed in their books. Boudewijn Koole was responsible for the portrait of Ilja Leonard Pfeijffer. In 2014, the classicist, poet and writer won the Libris Prize for his novel La Superba and in 2015 he was granted the Jan Campert Award and the VSB Poetry Award for his collection of poems Idyllen.
