Fragmentary feature about the bogged-down relationship of a middle-aged couple. The film is made up of various dialogue scenes that only partly relate to each other. The relationship between the characters does not seem to develop in a linear fashion, but in a circle. Schijnsel (Glint) balances on the boundary between portraying an intimate relationship between a man and a woman and the intimacy in the acting of the two players. The texts in the film are not just of substantial interest, but also function as tools for the actors. If one of them has a monologue, it focuses on speaking the text and (reflecting on) being an actor.
