Documentary about the art of bull-fighting. Some regard it as a cruel spectacle while others see it as a lofty art form. It is deeply rooted in Spanish culture and closely linked to religion, dance, music, art and commerce. The film follows the legendary career of the 20-year-old bull-fighter Enrique Ponce in the summer of 1992. This season marked a turning point in his career; he often triumphed in the largest arenas in Spain. The film also shows how little boys try to master the art of bull-fighting.
