As if captured in a moving photonegative, the vanes and the wind in this animation compel a frame and sound filling rhythmical composition. Starting point and source of inspiration for this exploration of film printing techniques are Piet Mondriaan’s mill paintings, specifically 'The Red Mill' (1911).
