In 1969, Roelof Kiers travelled to Libya to report on the successful revolution led by the youthful colonel Gaddafi. A group of young colonels had managed to overthrow the corrupt government and establish a regime that would curb American oil interests and make oil profits go to the population. Kiers films a speech by Gaddafi and talks to student leaders and the Minister of Oil Matters.
