Alienating, highly detailed stop-motion film, shot with 4K Digital Cinema. Sometimes the objects from which insects, buildings and nature have been built are identifiable, like raspberries and sugar cubes. In this fascinating dream world, which is gorgeous but also terribly threatening, a group of ants is arduously quarrying building stones for a huge construction. In this building, they breed locusts that soon constitute an all-consuming plague.
