TV series written by Gerard Soeteman based on events from the law practice of Max Moszkowicz. Three episodes were screened from the series of 16, each directed by a different film-maker. Proeftijd (Probation), directed by Ron Termaat, is about a young technical school graduate who applies for a job with a large building company. He soon develops a turbulent relationship with the young female director which leads to problems when she wants to put a stop to it. In Schaakmaat (Check Mate) by Tjebbo Penning, a chemist uses his chess-club evenings as an alibi for other business, but that costs him early. When Mr Raab in Mussolini, directed by Anne van der Linden, starts investigating on behalf of a duped client, he experiences the swindlers' tricks at first hand.
