'As a gardener, you have to be a little obsessed by your work.' Says a 85-year-old pruning master who despite his age is inexhaustible. Together with the owner, he works in a historical vegetable garden on a Dutch estate. Amid freshly ploughed earth, fruit trees and lush grapevines, the men discuss the weather and the world and share their knowledge about cultivating vegetables and fruit. Patience and perspective are imperative; everything in its time. Meanwhile, the seasons go by.
