Dance film about a man who turns out to be a stranger in his own life, but heroically refrains from resisting. One Man without a Cause is freely inspired by Albert Camus’ novel L’ Étranger and deals with a keen mind who sees through the absurdity of life and draws conclusions that are right for him. The film brings about a specific synergy in which an abstract choreography and a narrative film story complement and reinforce each other.
