Playful dance film visualises a young man’s journey to adulthood. He threads his way through life, trying to connect with the older people that surround him. Soon, the relations tip over and the roles are reversed: the adults no longer offer him a grip and now they are the ones clinging to the boy, thinking he personifies a youthful and vigorous ideal. For this film, choreographer Toer van Schaijk was inspired by his own painting, entitled 'Onweer' (Thunderstorm).
