In the figures of a clay ox and a drawn bird who are condemned to each other, stop motion and 2D come together. The two animals are born almost simultaneously in a hot desert. To prevent its legs from burning, the bird jumps on the bovine head. The pecking at his head drives the ox up the wall, but to his horror he turns out to be worse off without the bird. The expressive clarinet music and photography underline the silent strife.
