Everything in the Spanish Riding School in Vienna, one of the oldest training institutes for classical horsemanship, breathes the tradition of five centuries of equestrian passion. Only the absolute top can reach this highest of levels. The documentary shows how the young Lippizaner stallions are bred in the green Austrian hills and prepared for their career. But the horse breeders’ age-old expertise is threatened by new insights in genetics. In this new world, horses are already cloned. Can nature win over nurture?
