The night of a lonely photographer with a Polaroid camera, looking for human connections in the alienating Amsterdam nightlife, ends with an indefinable souvenir.
‘Excuse me, picture?’ A photographer with a Polaroid camera poses this question time and again to people in bars and on the street. To make money, but that is not the only reason; this way, the lonely man is also looking for some connection with life around him in the Amsterdam nightlife. In the course of the night, however, he is continuously confronted with the ugly sides of his audience, sweeping him along into a downward spiral. While the world flashes past him faster and faster, the night ends in a confrontation in which he threatens to lose his most precious possession.
