Fransje and Fer were spring chickens when they got married and had children. Half a life later and divorced for many years now, the sixty-somethings meet again for the first time in this romantic drama, at the funeral of their untimely deceased son. In their immense grief, they try to make contact. Wholly unexpected, they fall for each other again. Their children and grandchildren initially consider their renewed contact as a blessing in a sad disguise, but when their infatuation comes to light after all, things really become complicated.
