Ostrako is the name of the freighter on which director Hans Muller made his short film. The camera mostly looks forward, high above the water, from the forecastle of the huge bulk carrier. The long shots are played at fifty times the normal speed. Small boats slide over the water along the front of the boat. Ferries glide to and fro. The sun also sets fast, to hectic jazz music composed by the director.
