A young woman works in a space station. Under severe working conditions, she hears and sees things she can’t explain. She lets people reassure her that everything is normal, but then lines appear under her skin. Science-fiction film does not emphasise technology, but the psychology of a protagonist who has nobody left back on earth. The contact with an extraterrestrial life form confronts her with her desires and fears.
